1. Discovery Call to Decide If We Will Work Together

The process begins with an initial discovery call between the client and Designed for Life. During this call, the client shares their vision, goals, and requirements for their custom home. The designer listens carefully to understand the client's needs and determine if there is a good fit between the client's vision and the services offered by Designed for Life.

2. Hiring Designed for Life

Once the client decides to move forward, they officially hire Designed for Life to handle their custom home design project. This involves signing a contract or agreement outlining the scope of work, timelines, and fees.

3. Designed for Life Provides First Draft

With the agreement in place, Designed for Life begins the design process by creating the first draft of the custom building plans. This initial draft incorporates the client's preferences, requirements, and design ideas discussed during the discovery call.

4. Changes & Adjustments to the Plan

After reviewing the first draft, the client provides feedback and requests any changes or adjustments to the plan. This may involve modifications to the layout, room sizes, architectural features, or other design elements to better align with the client's vision.

5. Final Approval from the Client

Once the necessary changes and adjustments have been made, Designed for Life presents the revised plan to the client for final approval. The client reviews the plans and provides their approval to proceed to the next phase of the project.

6. Submission for Permits

With the final design approved, Designed for Life prepares the necessary documents and plans for submission to the relevant authorities for permits and approvals. This may include zoning permits, building permits, environmental assessments, and other regulatory requirements.

7. Building

Once permits are secured, the construction phase begins. Contractors and subcontractors are hired to bring the custom home design to life according to the approved plans and specifications. Throughout the construction process, Designed for Life oversees the project to ensure quality, adherence to timelines, and client satisfaction.
